The SNAKE 200 LED device by MAGNUM is a lightweight, portable power source made with inverter technology.

The device is powered by 230V single-phase mains, has a maximum welding current of 200A and a high 60% efficiency. The SNAKE 200 LED is equipped with a large multifunctional LED display with an intuitive, easy-to-use control panel.

The device is based on advanced technology, using IGBT transistors which translates into reduced electromagnetic interference, low power loss, increased efficiency and reliability of the power source, and lower power consumption. The device is equipped with HOT START, ARC FORCE, ANTI STICK, VRD function . This makes arc ignition and electrode guidance remarkably easy, even for welders without any experience.

– Adjustable ARC FORCE – “arc dynamics” function. – Shortening the arc length is accompanied by an increase in welding current, which results in stabilization of the arc, regardless of its length. Decreasing the value of the function gives a soft arc and a smaller depth of fusion, while increasing the value of the function results in a deeper fusion and the possibility of welding with a short arc,
– Adjustable HOT START function – consisting of a momentary increase in welding current above the set value at the time of arc ignition, This prevents the phenomenon of “sticking ” of the electrode in the initial phase of welding, making it easier to start the whole process,
– ANTI STICK function – an anti-short-circuit function,
– VRD function (Voltage Reduction Device) – it turns off the power supply within milliseconds after the end of welding and reduces the voltage on the covered electrode to a safe level.

SNAKE 200 LED welder is designed for stationary and field work, performing all kinds of workshop, repair, construction, etc. The welder can also be used for TIG welding using a special TIG handle with a valve (TIG LIFT method). Arc ignition is then carried out by lightly rubbing the non-fusible electrode against the material to be welded.
