The inverter machine SNAKE 200 PS from MAGNUM is a light, portable power source. It welds with covered electrodes on various grades of non-alloy, low-alloy, high-alloy, stainless and heat resistant steel, on copper and cast iron. The machine offers a high duty cycle of 200 A/60% and a very good arc characteristic for rutile and basic electrodes.
The machine is based on advanced technology using IGBT transistors, which reduces electromagnetic interference and power losses, raises the output and reliability of the power source and lowers energy use.
The SNAKE 200 PS welder is intended for stationary and site work, for all kinds of workshop, repair and construction jobs. The welder can also be used for TIG welding with a special TIG torch with a gas valve, the TIG LIFT method. The arc is then struck by lightly scratching the non-consumable electrode against the workpiece.
