Technology in detail
Complete class TH3 respiratory protection
This kit is a complete powered air purifying respirator (PAPR) system, certified to the highest class, TH3 (EN 12941). Only clean air, filtered through a high-efficiency P3 filter, reaches the welder's breathing zone. The system builds up positive pressure inside the helmet, which actively protects against welding fumes, dust and aerosols and also keeps the lenses from fogging up. Two flow modes (170+ and 210+ l/min) let you adjust the airflow to the conditions and your preference. A smart triple alarm system (audible, visual, vibration) warns you at once of a low battery or a clogged filter, so you stay protected at all times.
Performance and ultra-fast charging in 1 hour
The Migatronic PAPR system is designed to keep downtime to a minimum. The standard lithium-ion battery supplied with the kit gives up to 9 hours of continuous operation (at a flow of 170 l/min), which easily covers a full shift. What sets it apart on the market is the ultra-fast charging time of just 1 hour. Even if you forget to charge the battery, a lunch break is enough to have the system ready again for many hours of work. Class 1/1/1/1 optics with True Colour technology
The Operator helmet filter reaches the highest possible optical class, 1/1/1/1 (EN 379). This means uncompromising viewing quality, free of distortion, haze or uneven darkening. Combined with True Colour technology, the filter drops the traditional green tint in favour of realistic, natural colour rendering. The welder can follow the weld pool precisely and recognise the colours of the material and the surroundings, which noticeably reduces eye strain and minimises the risk of errors.
180° panoramic situational awareness
The Operator helmet stands out for its integrated side windows with a fixed DIN 5 shade. They widen the welder's field of view to as much as 180 degrees and eliminate the “tunnel vision” effect. This major gain in situational awareness is key to safety in a busy industrial environment: you can see co-workers, moving machinery or obstacles without lifting the helmet. The large viewing area of the main filter (107×75 mm) together with the side windows gives excellent orientation and comfort.
