The filter in the Helix Quattro helmet has the highest possible optical rating of 1/1/1/1 according to EN379. This means a crystal-clear, distortion-free image (optical class 1), no light diffusion (diffusion class 1) and perfectly even shading across the entire filter surface (homogeneity class 1). The last parameter is the key one: the angle dependence class (1) keeps the protection level constant whatever the angle at which the welder looks at the weld pool.
