ATEX certification for maximum safety
In this specialised version the e3000X system carries ATEX certification (Atmosphères Explosibles), which means that its design has been optimised for safety in explosion hazard zones (gas and dust zones). Every electrical component is designed to eliminate the risk of a spark that could cause ignition. This is a key legal and technical requirement in industries such as chemicals, petrochemicals, gas and pharmaceuticals. Welders and operators can do their work with full confidence in the equipment, even in the most dangerous conditions. Powerful, adjustable air flow with a cooling effect
The unit offers three-level electronic air flow control at 170, 210 and 240 litres per minute. This output is well above the minimum requirements of the standard and keeps a constant positive pressure inside the helmet even during heavy physical work. The highest flow level, 240 l/min, produces a noticeable cooling effect on the face and forehead, a real advantage when you work in high ambient temperatures or weld at high currents. The e3000X system is designed as a closed, precisely integrated system that works only with compatible Optrel helmets. The air is delivered evenly without irritating draughts into the eyes, and the dedicated face seals maintain the positive pressure. As a result the system reliably reaches the highest respiratory protection class TH3 (to EN 12941), filtering 99.8% of harmful solid and liquid particles.
