True-Color View technology, see things as they are
The auto-darkening filter in the neo p550 helmet features True-Color technology, which neutralises the traditional green tint of the image. Thanks to a special UV/IR filter, the welder sees the weld pool and the surroundings in almost natural colours, which clearly improves the perception of detail. This means more precise control of the welding process, faster detection of defects and less eye strain during long periods of work. A realistic image translates directly into higher quality and more precise welds.
Reliable design and ergonomics
The neo p550 helmet belongs to the proven Y series, valued for its very good price-to-quality ratio and reliability. Its light yet durable shell weighs only 495 grams, keeping the load on the neck and head to a minimum. Shade adjustment in the range 9-13 DIN and a delay function let you set the parameters precisely for MIG/MAG, MMA or TIG welding. It is a solid, professional tool designed for intensive daily work in the workshop.
Innovative positive-pressure half mask concept
The swiss air system completely changes the approach to respiratory protection by separating it from face protection. At the heart of the system is a lightweight filter and blower unit (550 g) worn on an ergonomic harness, which delivers clean air directly to the half mask. Constant positive pressure builds up around the mouth and nose, effectively pushing contaminants away and actively assisting breathing, which reduces fatigue. Crucially, the system does not need a perfect seal against the face, so there is no need for time-consuming and often unreliable fit tests. Uncompromising TH3 protection and versatile use
