The helmet was designed as a “two-in-one” tool for operators who use different joining technologies. It offers a dedicated, manually adjustable laser welding mode with shades 4-9, providing certified protection against laser radiation in the 1000-1100 nm band. When you switch to arc welding mode, the helmet activates the fully automatic ShadeTronic® system, which dynamically selects the shade in the 5-13 range. Optrel's patented shell design, with a distinctive nose cut-out, brings the auto-darkening filter cassette closer to the welder's eyes than ever before. It eliminates the “tunnel vision” effect, giving you full situational awareness at the workstation and a clear view of your surroundings, which translates directly into safety. In arc welding mode, the helmet uses the advanced ShadeTronic® algorithm, which works like a personal assistant for the welder. Based on data from five independent sensors, the system analyses the intensity of the welding arc in real time and automatically selects the ideal shade in the range from 5 to 13. There is no need to adjust it manually or guess which shade suits a given current or welding process. The helmet's power system relies on a highly efficient dual energy source. The main supply is an efficient lithium-polymer battery that you can charge at any time with a standard Micro-USB cable, just like a smartphone. In addition, built-in solar cells keep topping up the battery during work, extending its life and the operating time between charges. This setup ensures that the helmet is always ready for work, even after a long period in storage. It is an investment in reliability and uninterrupted work with no surprises.

In this version the e3000X is ATEX certified, which approves it for safe work in potentially explosive atmospheres (gas zone 2 and dust zone 22). At the same time it provides the highest possible level of respiratory protection, class TH3 (according to EN 12941), filtering 99.8% of harmful solid particles, fumes and aerosols. The system creates controlled positive pressure inside the helmet and effectively isolates the airways from the contaminated external environment. The e3000X was designed for comfort during long hours of intensive work. You have three airflow settings: 170, 210 and 240 litres per minute. This lets you match the air supply precisely to the intensity of the work and the ambient temperature. The highest setting, 240 l/min, not only delivers the maximum amount of clean air but also produces a noticeable cooling effect on the forehead and face. At the heart of the system is a powerful, high-capacity lithium-ion battery that delivers up to 18 hours of continuous operation on a single full charge (at the lowest airflow level).
