The Optrel weldCap® breaks with the convention of heavy, rigid welding helmets. Its unique textile-based design is extremely light (only approx. 400 g) and fits closely to the head, with comfort comparable to wearing a baseball cap. It was designed for welders doing dynamic assembly or service work, or working in confined spaces, where freedom of head movement is crucial. The soft yet durable design does not restrict movement and minimises the load on the neck during many hours of work. Optrel's designers gave the weldCap® a patented solution known from the flagship Panoramaxx series: a special cut-out around the nose. In the light state the filter offers shade 3.0, and True-Color View technology provides a crystal-clear, realistic image in natural colours. This lets you judge the weld pool accurately, watch the temper colours and control the process with exceptional accuracy.
