The Panoramaxx Hybrid helmet was designed as a versatile tool for operators who handle varied tasks. It integrates two independent protection systems: a passive laser filter (compliant with EN 207) with manual shade adjustment in the 4-9 range, and a fully automatic ShadeTronic® welding filter working in the 5-13 range. This lets the operator move smoothly from arc welding to handheld laser work without changing protective equipment and with full safety. Optrel's patented shell design, with a distinctive cut-out around the nose, places the auto-darkening filter (ADF) cassette much closer to the eyes. This innovative geometry widens the field of view dramatically and removes the “tunnel vision” typical of standard helmets. Better peripheral awareness improves safety at the workstation and gives you better spatial orientation, which is essential when welding large workpieces. A view this wide translates directly into greater precision and control over the welding process.

ShadeTronic® is a fully automated shade control technology. An advanced array of five sensors continuously measures the intensity of the welding arc and, in real time and without any input from you, selects the ideal protection level in the range from 5 to 13 DIN. Whether you are TIG welding at low current or MAG welding in pulse mode, the helmet adjusts the shade by itself and gives you perfect visibility and protection. When you stop welding, FadeTronic® controls how the filter lightens and gives a smooth transition from the dark state to the light state. The function minimises the risk of afterimages and helps your eyes adapt to the surroundings faster. The helmet has an eco-friendly and efficient power system based on a lithium-polymer battery that is charged by the light of the welding arc, by ambient light or with a Micro-USB cable. Everything sits on the revolutionary IsoFit® headgear, whose three-dimensional adjustment and cord system fit any head shape precisely, providing stability and even weight distribution. Together they give you reliability and exceptional comfort, even during a full day of work.

In this configuration the e3000X powered air system provides the highest respiratory protection class, TH3 (EN 12941), filtering 99.8% of harmful solid and liquid particles, fumes and aerosols. In addition, this version is ATEX certified, which allows safe work in potentially explosive atmospheres (zones 1, 2, 21, 22). The system builds constant positive pressure inside the helmet, which effectively isolates the breathing zone from the contaminated surroundings. It is a fundamental investment in health and safety in the most hazardous industrial environments.

The e3000X offers three-level airflow control at 170, 210 and 240 litres per minute. You can set the airflow precisely to suit the working conditions and your personal preference. The highest level (240 l/min) not only supplies the maximum amount of clean air but also produces a noticeable cooling effect on the face and forehead. This is an invaluable advantage when working in high temperatures or welding at high amperage.

The set comes with a high-capacity lithium-ion battery that provides an impressive operating time reaching 18 hours on a single charge (at the lowest airflow level).
