Optrel's patented design with a nose cut-out places the auto-darkening filter much closer to the eyes. This innovative geometry widens the field of view dramatically, making it up to 6.3 times larger than in standard 100×50 mm helmets. ShadeTronic® is a fully automatic shade pilot that works in real time. Advanced sensors continuously measure the light intensity of the welding arc and dynamically adjust the shade in the range from 4 to 12. There is no need to adjust it by hand or guess which shade suits a given current or welding process. The system ensures that your eyes are always protected at the optimum shade, whatever changes you make to the parameters. FadeTronic® controls how the filter lightens after the welding arc goes out. Instead of a sudden, abrupt switch from dark to light, the filter lightens gradually and gives your eyes time to adapt. You can set this function precisely in the range from 0.1 to 2.0 seconds to suit your preferences and the type of work, for example spot welding or tacking. This significantly reduces the eye fatigue and irritation that often come with long hours of work. It is a key function for eye comfort and health during intensive, all-day work.

The e3000X powered air system provides the highest possible level of respiratory protection (class TH3 according to EN 12941), filtering 99.8% of harmful solid particles, fumes and aerosols. Welding fumes are classified as carcinogenic, so removing them effectively is essential for your health. The system creates a zone of constant positive pressure inside the helmet, which prevents contaminated air from reaching the welder's breathing zone.
