We are the manufacturer, your guarantee of top quality
We build professional welding cables in our own workshop. That is why, when you buy at Spawlab.pl, you know that every part, from the cable to the holder, has been chosen with care. What is more, everything has been assembled with attention to the smallest detail. As a result, we guarantee uncompromising quality and full technical support.
Professional electrode cable 400 A / 10 m, industrial power at maximum reach
Work freely on large structures, in shipyards and on building sites, with no compromise on power. That is exactly why we built the 10 metre 400 A electrode cable. However, to keep full performance over such a distance, we used a solid 95 mm² cable. As a consequence, you get great operating freedom while keeping the strong, stable arc that the heaviest industrial work demands.

Key features and benefits, an advantage in every detail
95 mm² Cable: Uncompromising Power Over Distance
Carrying 400 A over 10 metres is an engineering challenge. That is why, to meet it, we used a solid H01N2-D cable with a cross section of 95 mm². In practice this means that its very low resistance keeps losses and the voltage drop to a minimum. As a result, even 10 metres from the welder you have full power and a stable arc, which decides the quality and the pace of the work.
Heavy Duty 400 A Electrode Holder: A Firm Grip, Full Safety
Work at 400 A calls for the right tools. That is why we fitted this cable with an industrial 400 A electrode holder. First of all, its reinforced body and the insulating materials are made for high temperatures. What is more, enlarged jaws and a strong spring hold even the thickest electrodes securely. As a result, you gain safety and peace of mind, knowing that the holder will take the hardest conditions.
An Armoured Hydraulic Connection
A cable is only as good as its weakest point. For that reason, we join the cable to the plug by hydraulic crimping. In the end, this creates a monolithic joint that is mechanically very strong and conducts the current perfectly. So, you can be sure that this part will never let you down, even under the hardest work.
Proven quality: the calculation for 400 A / 10 m
A low voltage drop across the whole circuit is the key to a stable arc. That is why we show the calculation openly.
Step 1: Collecting the data
- Welding current (I): 400 A
- Total circuit length (L): 20 m (10 m electrode lead + 10 m earth lead)
- Cross section (A): 95 mm²
- Resistivity of copper (ρ): ≈ 0.0175 Ω, mm²/m
Step 2: Calculating the resistance (R)
R = (ρ × L) / A = (0.0175 × 20) / 95 ≈ 0.0037 Ω
Step 3: Calculating the voltage drop (ΔU)
ΔU = I × R = 400 A × 0.0037 Ω ≈ 1.47 V
Conclusion
As you can see, a result of 1.47 V proves that the set has been designed correctly. Namely, the solid 95 mm² cable makes up for the long run and keeps the voltage drop within safe limits.
To sum up, with this electrode cable you get:
- A maximum reach of 10 metres when working at 400 A.
- Full 400 A power at the end of the cable thanks to the solid 95 mm² cable.
- Safety and comfort at work, given by the industrial 400 A holder.
- Reliability for years, provided by the hydraulically crimped connection.
I recommend it
