The SPARTUS Ultra VX27 is a specialist helmet for laser welding, cleaning and cutting, designed to give the user maximum protection. It is more than an auto-darkening filter that protects your eyes: it is a complete face protection system whose special coating also shields you from reflected and scattered laser radiation. The active filter protects in the 1000-1100 nm wavelength range at D LB7 + IR LB8, and the outer coating adds class 1000-1100 DIR LB8. The helmet is designed for work with class 4 lasers and meets the requirements of EN 207:2017 and EN ISO 16321. Combined with the Ultra X PAPR system, it forms a complete set for eye, face and respiratory protection, matched to the demands of industrial work.
EXCELLENT VISIBILITY AND PROTECTION
With optical class 1/1/1/2 and a switching time of 1/25 000 s, the auto-darkening filter in the SPARTUS Ultra VX27 gives excellent visibility and darkens instantly the moment a flash is detected. The shade can be adjusted in two ranges, DIN 4-8 and DIN 8-12, so you can match the setting precisely to the intensity of the laser beam and the type of work. In standby the filter stays very light: shade DIN 2 gives you a clear view of the surroundings and details without taking the helmet off, which makes it much easier to set up the workstation and to work between welds.
ADVANCED OPERATING MODES AND FULL CONTROL
The helmet offers three operating modes: GRIND, MIX and DARK, so you can adapt it to different tasks. MIX mode reduces eye strain during spot welding and work with high-power lasers by moving smoothly through intermediate shade levels. You can also freely adjust the sensor sensitivity and the delay before the filter returns to the light state, for maximum comfort and safety.
