Technical details and certification
Materials and construction
The outstanding strength of the apron comes from top-quality grade A split cowhide with a guaranteed minimum thickness of 1 mm. This carefully selected material forms an excellent barrier against molten metal spatter, intense radiant heat and mechanical damage. All seams are double-stitched with the strongest thread on the market, 5-ply twisted DuPont™ KEVLAR®, which does not melt or burn and keeps the apron structurally intact even in extreme conditions. The strap attachment points, which take the highest loads, are additionally reinforced with metal rivets, which greatly extends the life of the product.
Safety and certification
As part of the Lava Brown™ line, the 44-7142W apron is certified to EN ISO 11611:2015 in Class 2/A1+A2. This is the highest possible level of protection for welding clothing, intended for the most demanding and hazardous welding processes that generate a lot of spatter and intense heat. Certification by the well-known notified body TÜV and the CE marking guarantee that you are investing in a product with a verified and documented level of safety.
