Materials and Construction
The reliability of the 44-7184 protector is built on top-quality grade A split cowhide. This carefully selected material is a very good thermal and mechanical barrier and protects the skin against hot metal spatter, slag and intense heat and UV radiation. All parts are joined with 3-ply twisted DuPont™ KEVLAR® thread. Its extreme resistance to high temperature and breaking means the seams do not burn through or tear even in the toughest conditions, which has a direct effect on product durability and welder safety. The wide, convenient hook-and-loop closure lets you put the protector on and take it off in seconds and adjust it precisely to your neck size.
