APS X 10 IVR Combi Dry G3, variable-speed oil-injected screw compressor
The APS X 10 IVR Combi Dry G3 on a 270 l tank is a variable-speed screw compressor designed for high output and low energy consumption. It is fitted with a European screw air end, an ultra premium class IE5 motor, a new-generation inverter and the AirVision controller. With this combination the unit runs steadily and economically, and you can conveniently control the entire compressed air production process. An ideal solution for daily work in demanding industrial conditions.
Advantages of APS X G3 series screw compressors
- The compressor is equipped with a high-performance European screw module, designed and manufactured in Europe, which ensures high reliability and efficiency.
- The screw module is direct driven 1:1, with no gearbox, which reduces mechanical losses and extends the service life of the unit.
- The screw system, designed for maximum efficiency with optimised air and oil circuits and a permanent magnet synchronous motor in class IE5, guarantees a further cut in energy consumption.
- The design of the screw block allows a broad variable-speed operating range (IVR), which means the compressor can run at lower speeds when compressed air demand is lower. This brings lower energy consumption and less mechanical wear, because the motor starts less often.
- Thanks to the factory-built European screw module and advanced components, the total cost of ownership (TCO) is optimised, which means less downtime, longer service intervals and stable output.
- IVR technology guarantees a soft start, which reduces stress and extends service life.
- Versatile for applications that need a pressure of 7 to 10 bar. At a setting of 8 bar, air delivery increases by almost 20%, which brings further savings.

Actual energy savings may be even higher, because the comparison above does not include the additional losses caused by the repeated starting currents of a fixed-speed compressor and the related short-term rise in power drawn from the grid. Because the operating profile of each installation varies (number of starts, load fluctuations, changing compressed air demand), these values cannot be estimated precisely, which works in favour of variable-speed (IVR) solutions.
Additional advantages
- Optimised energy consumption thanks to the inverter, which automatically adjusts the motor speed to the current air demand. This allows energy savings of up to 50% and cuts the total life-cycle cost of the unit by 30% over 5 years.
- Smart control via the AirVision system, which offers functions such as automatic restart, an operating schedule and full customisation of settings. More about the controller on its product page.
- Quiet operation thanks to the radial fan, which keeps the noise level at 60 dB(A), so you can install the compressor close to the point of use.
- Compact design that makes installation easy in limited space.
What makes this screw compressor so energy efficient?
- Permanent magnet synchronous motor in energy class Ultra Premium IE5.
- Inverter with enhanced efficiency, which allows energy savings of up to 50% compared with fixed-speed compressors.
- Direct drive 1:1, which eliminates energy losses at the motor.
Recommended use
The APS X 10 IVR Combi Dry G3 compressor on a 270 l tank is ideal for small and medium-sized industrial plants that need a flexible, efficient source of compressed air with variable demand. It performs very well in applications that call for precise energy management and output monitoring, such as workshops, production lines and warehouse systems.
Because the compressor is energy efficient, it suits any application where saving energy matters.
