This synergic ArcDrive program is set up for BÖHLER EMK 4 Ultra wire, 1.0 mm diameter, with C1 shielding gas. It covers short arc and spray arc, in manual and synergic mode.
What it is for
Each program covers one combination: wire, diameter, gas. You enter wire speed or material thickness and the machine selects voltage and arc shape. Typical work: steel structures, frames, tanks and machine parts in unalloyed and low-alloy steel. Pure CO2 is inexpensive and gives good penetration, but the arc is harsher and there is more spatter than with argon mixtures.

Which machine can run this program?
Any machine on the list above. ArcDrive has the widest machine list: it also covers TERRA NX 320/400 SMC SteelDrive and TERRA NX 400/500 MSE. How does ArcDrive differ from PulseDrive?
ArcDrive welds with short and spray arc, without pulse. PulseDrive adds pulsed arc and double pulse, which helps on thin sheet and in position.
Can I use this program with a different gas?
No: the curves are made for C1. For M20 choose a separate program: ArcDrive 1.0 mm, gas M20 (79.S1.01392).
