This ArcDrive program sets up the machine to weld with BÖHLER Q G4 wire, 1.0 mm, with M20 shielding gas. You work in synergic or manual mode, with short arc or spray arc.
What it is for
A program is a set of synergic curves for one wire, one diameter and one gas: you set wire speed or material thickness and the machine selects voltage and arc shape. Use it for unalloyed and low-alloy steels in the workshop and in production.

Should I choose RapiDeep instead of ArcDrive?
If productivity matters to you, yes. RapiDeep is a T.MAP process: the price list credits it with faster welding, better penetration and less heat. The guide does not list it for TERRA NX 400/500 MSE or URANOS NX 2700. The same set-up in RapiDeep: RapiDeep 1.0 mm, gas M20 (79.RD.01396).
Can I use another ER70S-6 wire?
The curves are tuned to BÖHLER Q G4. For other brands of the same class the price list offers the Universal ARC line, here: ArcDrive G3/4 Si1 (ER70S-6) 1.0 mm, gas M20 (79.S1.013).
