This PulseDrive program sets the machine up for pulsed arc welding with BÖHLER EMK 4 Ultra wire, 1.2 mm, with M20 shielding gas. Pulsed arc and double pulse make thin sheet and positional welds easier.
What it is for
The program holds synergic curves for this one combination of wire, diameter and gas. You change wire feed speed or plate thickness and the machine sets voltage and arc shape itself. The program is meant for unalloyed and low-alloy steels, which covers most structural work. M20 contains less CO2 than M21, so the arc is calmer and produces less spatter.
