This PulseDrive pulse program is set up for BÖHLER Q G4 wire, 0.8 mm diameter, with M20 shielding gas. It provides pulsed arc and double pulse, which means less spatter and better pool control.
What it is for
A program is a set of synergic curves for one wire, one diameter and one gas: you set wire speed or material thickness and the machine selects voltage and arc shape. The program is meant for unalloyed and low-alloy steels, which covers most structural work. M20 contains less CO2 than M21, so the arc is calmer and produces less spatter.
