This PulseDrive program sets the machine up for pulsed arc welding with BÖHLER X 70 IG wire, 0.8 mm, with M20 shielding gas. It provides pulsed arc and double pulse, which means less spatter and better pool control.
What it is for
The program holds synergic curves for this one combination of wire, diameter and gas. You change wire feed speed or plate thickness and the machine sets voltage and arc shape itself. The program is meant for high-strength steels, where repeatable heat input and a stable arc matter. A 0.8 mm wire works well on thin sheet and in position welding.

Can I add this program to my TERRA NX or URANOS NX?
Yes, as long as your machine is in the selection list above. You buy the program for one specific machine: give its model and serial number with your order. Installation (service visit or manufacturer update) is agreed after the order.
PulseDrive or QuickPulse?
QuickPulse is a T.MAP process: the price list credits it with faster welding, higher deposition rate, a more concentrated arc and less heat. It covers fewer machines, not URANOS NX 2700. QuickPulse for this set-up: QuickPulse 0.8 mm, gas M20 (79.QP.21999).
Can I use this program with a different gas?
No: the curves are made for M20. For M21 choose a separate program: PulseDrive 0.8 mm, gas M21 (79.P1.21599).
