What it is for
Each program covers one combination: wire, diameter, gas. You enter wire speed or material thickness and the machine selects voltage and arc shape. The program is meant for duplex stainless steels. A 1.0 mm wire is a good choice for thin and medium sheet.

Yes, if your model is on the list above. TERRA NX 320/400 SMC SteelDrive and TERRA NX 400/500 MSE are not listed for PulseDrive in the selection guide. When ordering, give the model and serial number of the machine the program is for. Installation, by our service or as a manufacturer update, is agreed after the order.
How does PulseDrive differ from ArcDrive?
ArcDrive means short and spray arc without pulse. PulseDrive gives pulsed arc and double pulse: less spatter and easier pool control. ArcDrive for this set-up: ArcDrive 1.0 mm, gas M12 (79.S1.063).
Does it suit wire from any manufacturer?
Yes, if the wire belongs to the CrNi 22 09 (ER2209) class, which you can check on the spool label. If you weld with Thermanit 22/09, choose the program tuned to it: PulseDrive Thermanit 22/09 1.0 mm, gas M12 (79.P1.06399).
