What it is for
A program is a set of synergic curves for one wire, one diameter and one gas: you set wire speed or material thickness and the machine selects voltage and arc shape. Use it on stainless steels, where a clean weld and little spatter count. A 1.0 mm wire is a good choice for thin and medium sheet.

Does it suit wire from any manufacturer?
Yes, if the wire belongs to the CrNi 19 9 (ER308) class, which you can check on the spool label. If you weld with Thermanit JE 308L Si, choose the program tuned to it: QuickPulse Thermanit JE 308L Si 1.0 mm, gas M12 (79.QP.05199).
