This PulseDrive program sets the machine up for pulsed arc welding with CrNi 23 12 (ER309) class wires, 1.0 mm, with M12 shielding gas. Pulsed arc and double pulse make thin sheet and positional welds easier.
What it is for
A program is a set of synergic curves for one wire, one diameter and one gas: you set wire speed or material thickness and the machine selects voltage and arc shape. The program is meant for stainless and acid-resistant steels. 23 12 wires are used, among other things, to join stainless to unalloyed steel.

How does PulseDrive differ from ArcDrive?
ArcDrive means short and spray arc without pulse. PulseDrive gives pulsed arc and double pulse: less spatter and easier pool control. ArcDrive for this set-up: ArcDrive 1.0 mm, gas M12 (79.S1.067).
Does it suit wire from any manufacturer?
Yes, if the wire belongs to the CrNi 23 12 (ER309) class, which you can check on the spool label. If your wire is unusual, contact us before ordering.
