This PulseDrive program sets the machine up for pulsed arc welding with diamondspark 52 BC wire, 1.2 mm, with M21 shielding gas. You get pulsed arc and double pulse, useful where the look of the weld face matters.
What it is for
Each program covers one combination: wire, diameter, gas. You enter wire speed or material thickness and the machine selects voltage and arc shape. The program is meant for unalloyed and low-alloy steels, which covers most structural work.

How does PulseDrive differ from ArcDrive?
ArcDrive means short and spray arc without pulse. PulseDrive gives pulsed arc and double pulse: less spatter and easier pool control. ArcDrive for this set-up: ArcDrive 1.2 mm, gas M21 (79.S1.02099).
Can I use this program with a different wire?
The curves are tuned to diamondspark 52 BC. Another wire may behave differently, so contact us and we will match a program to the wire you use.
