This PulseDrive pulse program is set up for diamondspark 54 MC wire, 1.0 mm diameter, with M21 shielding gas. It provides pulsed arc and double pulse, which means less spatter and better pool control.
What it is for
A program is a set of synergic curves for one wire, one diameter and one gas: you set wire speed or material thickness and the machine selects voltage and arc shape. The program is meant for unalloyed and low-alloy steels, which covers most structural work. A 1.0 mm wire is a good choice for thin and medium sheet.

Can I use this program with a different gas?
No: the curves are made for M21. M21 is the most widely used mixture for structural steels. For M20 choose a separate program: PulseDrive 1.0 mm, gas M20 (79.P1.20297).
