This PulseDrive pulse program is set up for Union X 90 wire, 1.0 mm diameter, with M20 shielding gas. You get pulsed arc and double pulse, useful where the look of the weld face matters.
What it is for
A program is a set of synergic curves for one wire, one diameter and one gas: you set wire speed or material thickness and the machine selects voltage and arc shape. The program is meant for high-strength steels, where repeatable heat input and a stable arc matter. A 1.0 mm wire is a good choice for thin and medium sheet.

FAQ
Which machine can run this program?
Any machine on the list above. TERRA NX 320/400 SMC SteelDrive and TERRA NX 400/500 MSE are not listed for PulseDrive in the selection guide. You buy the program for one specific machine: give its model and serial number with your order. Installation (service visit or manufacturer update) is agreed after the order.
How does PulseDrive differ from ArcDrive?
ArcDrive means short and spray arc without pulse. PulseDrive gives pulsed arc and double pulse: less spatter and easier pool control.
Can I use this program with a different gas?
No: the curves are made for M20. M20 contains less CO2 than M21, so the arc is calmer and produces less spatter. For M21 choose a separate program: PulseDrive 1.0 mm, gas M21 (79.P1.24099).
