This program runs the advanced T.MAP QuickPulse process for BÖHLER EMK 6 Ultra wire, 1.0 mm diameter, with M20 shielding gas. According to the price list, QuickPulse raises deposition rate with less heat input.
What it is for
Each program covers one combination: wire, diameter, gas. You enter wire speed or material thickness and the machine selects voltage and arc shape. The program is meant for unalloyed and low-alloy steels, which covers most structural work. A 1.0 mm wire is a good choice for thin and medium sheet.

Can I add this program to my TERRA NX or URANOS NX?
Yes, if your model is on the list above. When ordering, give the model and serial number of the machine the program is for. Installation, by our service or as a manufacturer update, is agreed after the order.
QuickPulse or RapiDeep?
The price list gives both T.MAP processes the same benefits. The machine list differs: RapiDeep also runs on TERRA NX 320/400 SMC SteelDrive, QuickPulse only on machines that run PulseDrive. RapiDeep for this set-up: RapiDeep 1.0 mm, gas M20 (79.RD.01393).
Can I use this program with a different gas?
No: the curves are made for M20. M20 contains less CO2 than M21, so the arc is calmer and produces less spatter. For M21 choose a separate program: QuickPulse 1.0 mm, gas M21 (79.QP.00893).
