This program runs the advanced T.MAP QuickPulse process for BÖHLER Q G4 wire, 1.2 mm diameter, with M20 shielding gas. The Böhler Welding price list credits QuickPulse with faster welding, better penetration and a more stable arc.
What it is for
Each program covers one combination: wire, diameter, gas. You enter wire speed or material thickness and the machine selects voltage and arc shape. The program is meant for unalloyed and low-alloy steels, which covers most structural work. The 1.2 mm diameter suits medium and thicker plate, typical in fabrication work.

Which machine can run this program?
Any machine on the list above. QuickPulse is not listed for TERRA NX SMC SteelDrive, TERRA NX MSE or URANOS NX 2700. When ordering, give the model and serial number of the machine the program is for. Installation, by our service or as a manufacturer update, is agreed after the order.
How does QuickPulse differ from PulseDrive?
PulseDrive is synergic welding with pulsed arc and double pulse. QuickPulse is a T.MAP process: the price list credits it with faster welding, better penetration, a more stable arc and fewer defects. PulseDrive for this set-up: PulseDrive 1.2 mm, gas M20 (79.P1.01496).
Can I use another ER70S-6 wire?
The curves are tuned to BÖHLER Q G4. For other brands of the same class the price list offers the Universal ARC line, here: QuickPulse G3/4 Si1 (ER70S-6) 1.2 mm, gas M20 (79.QP.014).
