What it is for
The program holds synergic curves for this one combination of wire, diameter and gas. You change wire feed speed or plate thickness and the machine sets voltage and arc shape itself. The program is meant for unalloyed and low-alloy steels, which covers most structural work. A 1.0 mm wire is a good choice for thin and medium sheet.

PulseDrive is synergic welding with pulsed arc and double pulse. QuickPulse is a T.MAP process: the price list credits it with faster welding, better penetration, a more stable arc and fewer defects. PulseDrive for this set-up: PulseDrive 1.0 mm, gas M20 (79.P1.20297).
Can I use this program with a different gas?
No: the curves are made for M20. For M21 choose a separate program: QuickPulse 1.0 mm, gas M21 (79.QP.03197).
