This RapiDeep program runs the T.MAP process for FOXcore GUARD 309L-T1 wire, 1.2 mm, with M21 shielding gas. The Böhler Welding price list credits RapiDeep with faster welding, better penetration and a more concentrated arc.
What it is for
Each program covers one combination: wire, diameter, gas. You enter wire speed or material thickness and the machine selects voltage and arc shape. Use it on stainless steels, where a clean weld and little spatter count. M21 is the most widely used mixture for structural steels.

Yes, if your model is on the list above. When ordering, give the model and serial number of the machine the program is for. Installation, by our service or as a manufacturer update, is agreed after the order.
How does RapiDeep differ from ArcDrive?
ArcDrive is standard synergic welding with short and spray arc. RapiDeep is a T.MAP process: per the price list faster welding, better penetration and a more concentrated arc with less heat. ArcDrive for this set-up: ArcDrive 1.2 mm, gas M21 (79.S1.28799).
Can I use another E309LT1-4 wire?
The curves are tuned to FOXcore GUARD 309L-T1. Another wire may behave differently, so contact us and we will match a program to the wire you use.
