Böhler Welding drive roll with a knurled groove for cored wire 1.0 to 1.2 mm, for the SF 2R drive in the URANOS 2000 SMC.
What it is for
Cored wire is a tube filled with flux: knurling grips it with less pressure, so the tube is not crushed. Replace it when you change wire or the groove wears. URANOS 2000 SMC comes with 0.8 to 1.0 mm rolls; the price list gives solid wire 0.6 to 1.0 mm, aluminium 0.8 to 1.0 mm and cored 0.9 to 1.2 mm for it.

The SF 2R-1T drive has two rolls, one driven; it works with the smooth upper roll 07.01.325. The price is for 1 pc.
Can it feed solid wire?
Solid wire needs smooth V rolls, e.g. 07.01.329. Knurling marks smooth wire.
