EWM Tetrix 300 AC/DC Comfort T 3.23 is an inverter TIG power source on alternating and direct current, with an MMA mode. On direct current you weld from 5 to 300 A, on alternating current from 5 to 270 A, and in continuous work the machine gives 220 A.
What this machine is for
Alternating current with adjustable balance takes aluminium and its alloys, direct current stainless and carbon steel. The load rating is 300 A at a 40% duty cycle, 270 A at 60% and 220 A at 100%, so the power source suits series welding and not only short repairs. The arc voltage runs from 10.2 to 22.0 V on direct current and from 10.2 to 20.8 V on alternating current.
The Comfort panel gives control over the whole cycle, and the expert menu will save parameters for your own procedure. The machine works in production of steel and aluminium structures, in automotive and in welding service workshops. The MMA mode comes in useful where you cannot reach with a TIG torch.

The open circuit voltage is 98 V in direct current mode, and the housing has class IP 23, so the machine stays under a roof. A weight of 38 kg at dimensions of 570 x 240 x 550 mm means you move the power source alone with a second person, but with a cooling unit and a trolley plan a fixed station.
