Praktik 205 Digital is an inverter welder for MMA with coated electrodes and for TIG with contact arc ignition, on direct current (DC). It welds with rutile and basic electrodes. Welding current 200 A, single-phase 230 V supply, with plug. It is small and light, so it suits hobby work in the workshop and on site.

Features
Control
You adjust the welding current smoothly, and control is electronic. The digital display makes precise setup of the welder easier.
MMA functions
ARC FORCE helps droplet transfer from the electrode to the weld pool and stops the arc going out when a droplet touches it. HOT START gives a higher current at each ignition, so the electrode strikes more easily. ANTI STICK switches off the welding voltage when the electrode sticks to the material, so it is easier to pull off and no accidental arc forms.
Cooling and protection
A fan cools the machine. It also has overload protection.
