Ideal Tecno MIG 222 LCD MIG/TIG/MMA Synergic VRD ALU is an inverter synergic MIG/MAG welder for MIG/MAG, TIG Lift, MMA and self-shielded wire (FLUX) welding. You can use it to braze galvanised sheet and to weld stainless steel, carbon and low-alloy steels and aluminium. It runs on 230 V and delivers up to 220 A in MIG and TIG and up to 200 A in MMA. It takes D200 and 15 kg spools.

Features
Synergic modes
The welder has three synergic modes for carbon steels and one for aluminium. For brazing you switch it to manual mode. The manufacturer designed it for jobs ranging from maintenance work to car body repairs.
LCD display
The LCD display lets you set the synergic parameters quickly. You adjust welding voltage, wire feed speed and inductance, and in MMA also HOT START and ARC FORCE.
Wire, gas and 2T or 4T operation
You weld with inert gas, active gas or a mixture as shielding. With self-shielded wire (FLUX) you weld without gas, with reverse polarity. The torch trigger works in 2T without latching or in 4T with latching for long welds.
VRD in MMA mode
In MMA mode you can switch on the VRD (Voltage Reduction Device) function. It lowers the open-circuit voltage on the electrode to a safe level and protects you against electric shock in damp surroundings.
Construction
A fan cools the inside, and a protection circuit guards the machine against overload. The machine has a factory-fitted mains plug.
