Spartus ER70S-6 (SG2) is a copper coated solid MIG/MAG wire alloyed with manganese and silicon for non-alloy and some low alloy steels. It runs under pure CO2 and argon CO2 mixtures, which makes it a workshop standard for steel structures, machinery, tanks and boilers.
For S235, S275 and S355 and boiler steels P235GH and P265GH. The copper coating protects the wire from rust on the spool and improves contact in the tip, so the arc burns steadily.

With pure CO2 set a slightly higher voltage than with M21 mixed gas, and a gas flow of 12 to 15 l/min. Store spools in a dry place, moisture and condensation spoil wire feeding.
