Tecno Plasma 40 Comp-AIR is an Ideal inverter plasma cutter with a built-in compressor that also welds with coated electrodes (MMA). You plug it into a 230 V socket, and it cuts steel, stainless steel, aluminium, brass and copper at 20 to 40 A. On the built-in compressor it cuts up to 12 mm, and with an external compressed air source up to 16 mm. It suits the workshop as well as site work.

Features
Built-in compressor and external air
The cutter has its own compressor, so you do not need a compressed air installation to cut. When you have access to a compressor, you connect it to the external inlet and cut thicker material, up to 16 mm.
Cutting modes and control
You have two modes: CUT for continuous work and GRID for intermittent work. You can read the LED display even in very strong light, and you adjust the cutting current steplessly and electronically. The torch trigger works in 2T or in 4T with latch for long cuts, and you set the torch cooling time after cutting yourself.
MMA welding
Once you connect the electrode cable, you weld with coated electrodes at 30 to 140 A. ARC FORCE helps droplet transfer from the electrode to the weld pool, so the arc does not go out, and HOT START supplies a higher current at arc strike. VRD lowers the open-circuit voltage at the electrode to a safe level, which protects you against electric shock in damp surroundings.
Design
A fan cools the inside, and overload protection guards the machine. The cutter weighs 13.2 kg and has a 230 V plug.
