Technology in detail
At the heart of the THF 220S AC/DC welder sits an advanced IGBT inverter board that gives a stable, concentrated arc at low energy use. The key technology is the TIG AC/DC process with pulse. AC mode, with balance and frequency control, breaks through the oxide layer and lets you weld aluminium. DC mode is meant for stainless steel, carbon steel and titanium. The PULSE function cuts heat input sharply through cyclic current change, which limits distortion and gives the stacked coin look of a weld known from far more expensive machines.

Control panel
The control panel was drawn up for professionals and gives full command of the welding process. A legible digital display shows the current that has been set, while dedicated knobs and buttons allow straightforward adjustment of every key TIG function: operating mode (2T/4T), pre-gas and post-gas flow, start current, crater filling current and all pulse and AC balance parameters. Such a layout keeps settings repeatable and exact.
