Technology in detail
The heart of the THF 335P V2 welder is inverter technology based on IGBT transistors, which guarantees high energy efficiency and a stable arc at a far lower weight than traditional transformer welders. The key technology here, though, is digital control of the TIG process. Welding with alternating current (AC) with full balance and frequency adjustment breaks through the oxide layer effectively and gives a clean, high quality weld on aluminium. The pulse welding function (PULS) gives the operator precise control over heat input, which keeps distortion down when welding thin sheet and produces a weld with the characteristic, neat stacked bead. The arc is struck without contact (HF), which is the standard in professional use.

Control panel
The control panel was drawn up for professionals and gives full access to every key welding parameter. A large, legible digital display together with a multifunction knob and dedicated buttons allows intuitive navigation and precise adjustment. You can set, among other things, the gas flow time before and after welding, the start and end current, the current up slope and down slope, all the pulse parameters (base current, peak current, frequency, width) and the shape of the AC wave. The channel memory function lets you store your most used settings and recall them quickly.
