Crystal Lens 2.0 technology: a crystal-clear image
Crystal Lens Technology (CLT) uses a specially developed UV/IR filter that lets through as much as 31% of visible light in the light state, reaching a groundbreaking shade level of 2.0. In practice, this means an image almost as clear as through a protective lens, a huge step up from the standard level of 4.0 in most welding helmets. Combined with the True-Color filter, this technology gives realistic, undistorted colour rendering, which is key when you judge the weld pool and its surroundings. You can prepare the material precisely and control the process without lifting the helmet. Investing in CLT is a direct investment in better weld quality, less eye strain and higher productivity.
Autopilot ShadeTronic®: intelligent shade matching
ShadeTronic® technology works like a fully automatic pilot for your eyes. Using an additional light sensor, the helmet continuously measures the intensity of the welding arc and smoothly adjusts the shade in real time in the range from 4 to 12. You no longer need any manual adjustment when you change the current, the welding process or the distance to the workpiece. The system can also be calibrated individually by ±2 shades, so you can match it to your personal preferences and eyesight. You get optimal protection and excellent visibility at every second of work and can focus entirely on the weld.
FadeTronic®: smooth filter brightening
FadeTronic® changes the way the helmet returns to the light state after the arc goes out. Instead of a sudden, abrupt brightening, this technology gives a smooth, gradual transition from dark to light, and you can adjust its duration in the range from 0.1 to 2.0 seconds. This is much more natural for the human eye, because it lets the iris adapt gently to the change in light. The function is especially valuable in spot welding (tacking) and for short, repetitive welds, where frequent changes in brightness can cause considerable discomfort. It is a fundamental eye-protecting technology that means less fatigue and more comfort during many hours of work.
Universal hard hat adapter
This model comes factory-fitted with a universal mounting adapter that lets you attach the welding helmet quickly and securely to most standard safety helmets on the market.
