Optrel's patented shell design with its distinctive nose cut-out places the auto-darkening filter (ADF) much closer to the wearer's eyes. When the arc goes out, standard helmets switch from dark to light instantly, which can cause brief discomfort and eye strain. FadeTronic® changes this by brightening the filter smoothly and gradually over an adjustable time from 0.1 to 2.0 seconds. This gentle return to the light state is much more natural for the human eye and greatly reduces fatigue, especially in work with frequent tack welds. The IsoFit® headgear is a major step forward in welding helmet ergonomics, designed for long hours of work. It uses a three-dimensional adjustment mechanism with a cable tensioning system that adapts closely to any head shape and circumference, much like a baseball cap. The weight of the helmet is spread evenly over a large area, which removes pressure points and keeps the helmet very stable without over-tightening. The helmet stays in place in every working position. The Panoramaxx CLT has a modern, environmentally friendly power system, so you no longer depend on replacing batteries. In poor light or after a long storage period, you can top up the battery at any time with a standard Micro-USB cable connected to a computer or a mains charger.
