Crystal Lens Technology (CLT) 2.0: breakthrough clarity
This is the heart of the CLT model and its biggest advantage on the market. Using an advanced vacuum coating process, Optrel has achieved something that seemed impossible: a light state of 2.0. In practice, this means that when you are not welding, you see your surroundings with almost no tint, with colour fidelity and contrast not seen before. For a TIG welder, this is a fundamental change. You can position the electrode precisely, watch the weld pool at the lowest currents and control the whole process with an accuracy that no other helmet offers.
ShadeTronic® technology: your intelligent autopilot
Forget setting the shade by hand. The SphereX CLT has an “Autopilot” that does it for you. The ShadeTronic® system uses data from five advanced sensors to analyse the intensity of the welding arc in real time. In a fraction of a second, it smoothly adjusts the level of protection in the range from 5 to 12 DIN. What does this mean for you? Full concentration on the weld. Whether you change the current or the welding technique, the helmet reacts immediately and gives you ideal visibility and full protection.
FadeTronic® technology: comfort for your eyes
You feel the real comfort once you stop welding. Instead of a sudden, tiring flash, FadeTronic® technology (“twilight mode”) makes the filter brighten smoothly and gradually. This gives your eyes time to adapt naturally, which greatly reduces fatigue and eliminates the unpleasant afterglow effect, especially after welding at high currents. It is a function that protects your eyesight and lets you work longer without headaches.
5 sensors and an enlarged field of view
Reliability is the foundation. That is why the SphereX uses no fewer than five arc sensors. This configuration ensures instant detection even in the most demanding conditions: out-of-position welding, a partly obstructed view and extremely low TIG currents. The field of view has been enlarged by more than 30% compared with previous models, which noticeably improves spatial orientation and safety at work.
Ergonomic Optrel IsoFit® X headgear
