The swiss air system works by creating a constant positive pressure in the breathing zone, enclosed in a ventilated respirator made of flame-retardant material. The filter-blower unit, worn ergonomically on the back, draws contaminated air from the environment, passes it through a high-performance particulate filter, and then delivers it continuously to the wearer.
