Optrel swiss air is a new approach to personal respiratory protection, designed for professionals who will not compromise on safety, comfort and flexibility. The system separates respiratory protection completely from face and eye protection and uses an ultra-light (550 g) filter unit worn on the back. It delivers TH3 class clean air directly to the breathing zone and, thanks to its universal design, is compatible with any welding helmet, face shield or hard hat. Positive pressure zone and active breathing support
The core of the system is an advanced filter blower unit that delivers filtered air to a specially designed ventilated half mask. The half mask, made of a flame-retardant, skin-friendly material, creates a zone of constant positive pressure around the mouth and nose. This design not only seals the airways off from the contaminated surroundings but also actively supports breathing, reducing breathing effort and fatigue. The system does more than protect you: it physically makes the work easier, especially during long, intensive welding jobs.
