Technology IGBT - Insulated Gate Bipolar Transistor - is a modern technology based on bipolar transistors with an insulated gate. It combines the easy control of field effect transistors with the high breakdown voltage and the switching speed of bipolar transistors. IGBT technology considerably extends the reliable service life of welding equipment.

The WELDER FANTASY PERFECT PLASMA 60 L plasma cutter is intended for cutting electrically conductive parts made of carbon and alloy steels, aluminium and its alloys, brass, copper and also cast iron. Plasma cutters from the new PERFECT series hold a 60% cutting duty cycle, which allows unhurried work in typical workshop conditions, industrial ones included. Thanks to the latest IGBT transistors the machine keeps running without interruption and stays failure free. This cutter finds its place in car repair shops, in shipbuilding, in sheet metal work, in locksmith trades and in many others.
Machines in the PERFECT PLASMA 60 L series carry a modern user interface with a choice of four languages: Polish, English, German and French. The control panel allows you to set the following cutting parameters:
- material thickness [mm],
- cutting speed [m/min],
- air pressure [MPa],
- torch operating mode, 2T two stroke or 4T four stroke,
- cutting current [A],
- gas post flow time after the plasma arc goes out, for torch cooling [s],
- cutting mode depending on the support, grid or plate.
The machine carries a contactless reverse flow arc ignition system "BLOW-BACK". The method pulls the electrode back as the arc is struck. The clear advantage of this solution is lower consumption of wear parts and electromagnetic interference cut to a minimum compared with HF ignition. That matters for protecting electrical equipment such as controllers, stepper motors or computers standing near the plasma cutter. A further benefit is a lower failure rate, because the HF module is gone.
