Flagship 120 mm² cable: conductivity without equal over distance
This is the thickest and the strongest cable in our offer. Namely, the 120 mm² cross section of pure copper was chosen to meet a double task: an enormous current of 500A and a long distance of 10 metres. In practice this means that its ability to dissipate heat and its low resistance are decisive for stable work. Thanks to that, you can carry out heavy welding and gouging far from the power source without worrying about a loss of power.
600A holder: made for extreme power
Work at 500A, and gouging above all, creates extreme temperatures and loads. That is exactly why we fitted this cable with a top class 600A holder. First of all, its massive, heat resistant body and powerful jaws grip carbon and covered electrodes of the largest diameters firmly. As a result, you gain maximum safety and performance in the hardest conditions.
Armoured hydraulic connection
The quality of a cable is defined by its weakest point. For this reason, we join the cable to the plug by hydraulic crimping. In the end, this creates a monolithic connection, mechanically very strong and with excellent conductivity. So you can be sure that this part will never let you down, even in the heaviest work.
Confirmed quality: the calculation for 500A / 10m

Step 1: the input data
- Welding current (I): 500 A
- Total circuit length (L): 20 m (10m electrode cable + 10m earth cable)
- Cross section (A): 120 mm²
- Resistivity of copper (ρ): ≈ 0.0175 Ω, mm²/m
Step 2: the resistance (R)
R = (ρ × L) / A = (0.0175 × 20) / 120 ≈ 0.0029 Ω
Step 3: the voltage drop (ΔU)
ΔU = I × R = 500 A × 0.0029 Ω ≈ 1.46 V
Conclusion
As you can see, the result of 1.46 V proves that even with an extreme combination of power and distance the voltage losses stay under full control. This means that the cable was designed without any compromise.
