Spartus E71T-GS is a self-shielded flux-cored wire for non-alloy steels, welded without a gas bottle. The flux core creates its own shield, so the wire works outdoors, in wind and for repairs on site.
For S235 and S275, thin sheet, sections and fences. GS in the AWS classification means single pass welding, so the wire is not meant for multi pass structural welds.

Weld with the torch on the negative pole and swap the leads in the machine before you start. Use knurled feed rolls, smooth rolls crush the core. Remove the slag after every pass.
