The SPARTUS® Ultra VX27 is a specialised helmet for laser welding, cleaning and cutting, designed to give the user maximum protection. It is not just an auto-darkening filter that protects your eyes: it is a complete face protection system whose special coating also protects effectively against reflected and scattered laser radiation. The active filter provides protection in the wavelength range 1000-1100 nm at level D LB7 + IR LB8, and the outer coating adds class 1000-1100 DIR LB8. The helmet is designed for use with class 4 lasers and meets the requirements of EN 207:2017 and EN ISO 16321. EXCELLENT VISIBILITY AND PROTECTION
With optical class 1/1/1/2 and a reaction time of 1/25 000 s, the auto-darkening filter in the SPARTUS® Ultra VX27 gives excellent visibility and darkens instantly the moment a flash is detected. The shade can be adjusted in two ranges, DIN 4-8 and DIN 8-12, so you can match the settings precisely to the intensity of the laser beam and the type of work. In standby the filter stays exceptionally light: level DIN 2 gives you a clear view of the surroundings and details without taking the helmet off, which makes preparing the workstation and working between welds much easier.
ADVANCED OPERATING MODES AND FULL CONTROL
The helmet offers three operating modes: GRIND, MIX and DARK, which make it easy to adapt to different tasks. MIX mode reduces eye fatigue during spot welding and work with high-power lasers by passing smoothly through intermediate shade stages. You can also freely adjust the sensor sensitivity and the delay before the filter returns to the light state, for maximum comfort and safety.
EVERYDAY COMFORT AND ERGONOMIC DESIGN
