Paton ECO-160 MMA welder - basic data
The PATON ECO-160 (version without the carrying case) MMA welder is made for manual arc welding in the MMA process with direct current. The ECO series is meant for home users who need a workable machine with a rated current of 160A. That is enough to work with any electrode from ⌀ 1.6 mm to ⌀ 5 mm, including the hard melting ones. The duty cycle is no lower than 40%, which covers most jobs on a semi industrial scale and works well in the household sector.
Thanks to their solid, compact build, welders of the ECO series do well out in the field. The small size makes the machine very mobile, and the professional transport case in the set makes carrying it much easier.
Main advantages of the Paton ECO-160 MMA welder
- Welders made in Europe
- Stepless welding current adjustment
- Work on long extension leads and with a generator
- All electronic parts carry two coats of high grade varnish, which keeps the product reliable through its whole working life
- Improved arc stability
- Hot-Start (hot striking), Arc-Force (arc force) and Anti-Force (anti stick) functions
- The machines have protection against voltage surges and a work stabilising circuit, so they work correctly across the voltage range from 170V to 260V
- Half the electric power demand compared with traditional power sources
5 year maker warranty for consumers and for companies
Build quality backed by a 5 year DOOR-to-DOOR maker warranty. Models from the ECO series have a compact design with a number of solutions that raise their resistance to failure. The inverter block runs at frequencies in the kHz range, which affects the size of the transformer in the power block and cuts the weight and the size of the machine itself.
