PATON 150A mini welder
The mini welder PATON™ is intended for manual arc welding in MMA mode with direct current. The MINI series is aimed at users who need a practical unit at its full rated current of 150A. That is enough to run any electrode from 1.6 mm to 4 mm inclusive, with a duty cycle of no less than 40%, which covers most tasks in the household sector (holiday homes, small workshops, car service stations and similar).
Thanks to its solid, compact build the MINI series welder works well on site and in household conditions. The small dimensions make the units easy to carry. The welder PATON™ MINI has a built in working stabilisation system, so it can be powered from a generator.

Function description:
The Hot-Start function (hot start) gives a clean beginning of the weld and a first rate ignition: at the moment the arc strikes, for a short time the working welding current rises from the set working level to the optimum level. In some cases (work on a weak mains supply or on a generator) this level can be set by hand if the matching switch is fitted (as in the “Professional” series). Lowering “Hot-Start” to cut the power draw from a weak mains supply, or raising it on a strong supply, makes striking much easier.
The Arc-Force function (arc force) is used to improve burning stability in a short arc and to keep the electrode from sticking. When a metal droplet separates from the electrode, the current is raised automatically to a set level if the matching switch is fitted (as in the “Professional” series). Lowering the arc force to cut the power draw from a weak mains supply, or raising it on a strong supply, improves arc burning stability even further.
The Anti-Stick function (anti stick) lets the welder separate the electrode from the workpiece easily. If a short circuit occurs, after a brief pause the welding current is reduced automatically. Once the electrode is free of the part, the power source returns to normal operation by itself.
