INDUCTOR 3C is an induction heater for fast, flameless heating of ferrous metals and aluminium.
Using electromagnetic induction, it can deliver a large amount of heat to a precise spot within just a few seconds, to a depth of 4mm. Because it heats only the selected area, it does not damage glass, rubber or plastic parts or painted surfaces close to where the heater is working.
Despite its small size and low weight (13.5kg), it delivers high output. The built-in liquid cooling system makes a maximum power of 3.5 kW possible.
Recommended for every car and van service workshop for bodywork and mechanical repairs. Suitable for overhaul work and wheel alignment, tyre shops and mechanical workshops. It makes it easier to remove seized bolts, nuts, pins, bearings and other car parts.
It shortens repair time and gives you maximum control over heating during work. Unlike a gas torch, the induction heater heats the metal only at the selected spot, to a temperature of 500-600°C, and does not change the technical properties of the steel.
Power continuously adjustable in the range of 10 to 100 %.
The unit has 2 operating modes:
- Magnetic field control: constant magnetic field mode (CF)
In this mode the heater delivers the same magnetic field strength regardless of what surrounds the heater tip. It behaves much like a gas torch, with the strength of the flame replaced by the strength of the magnetic field. You control the amount of heat simply by moving the tip closer to or further away from the workpiece, just as you would with a gas torch.
- Power control: constant energy delivered to the material (CP)
In this mode the unit works to deliver and hold a set power level in the material. The advantage is a similar heating time for the same part, which is useful when identical parts are heated repeatedly, for example in production.
The unit has a universal remote control system that makes it easy to integrate into automated production processes. It can be controlled with a foot pedal, a push button or an analogue signal based on coil voltage and current, and it returns output information. On selected models, full control via a Data Bus connection is possible, with complete control and monitoring of the heating process.
